enVision New Possibilities – New Outreach

envision New Possibilities is now doing a different kind of Outreach called “Playdates.”  Through this innovative approach we are capturing many of the families that we were once missing. It is not only reaching a new and different group of families but also an assortment of cultures. We pick sensory friendly and inclusive environments so that the children can be comfortable in their surroundings and not be judged by their behaviors. Families are excited about attending our Playdates and Outreach Events because, according to the feedback that we are getting, their children were previously not able to join in some events due to sensory overload issues.

This different method of reaching the families not only gives the Early Intervention Families activities and things to do but also allows the adults to connect and share information and resources. We make sure to offer a variety of resources that will serve a broad range of families both in English as well as other languages. The families are very appreciative to see books and resources in their native languages.
