Nicholas Saidel received a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Pennsylvania, an M.A. in Islamic and Middle Eastern Studies from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, Israel, and a J.D. from the Georgetown University Law Center. Mr. Saidel has contributed opinion pieces to publications including Fox News, The Huffington Post, The Daily Beast, and the Jerusalem Post, and he has an ongoing “Ops & Blogs” column at the Times of Israel. Before his role as Associate Director at the Institute for Strategic Threat Analysis & Response (ISTAR) at the University of Pennsylvania, he was an Associate at the law firm of Wolf, Block LLP, a Legislative Aide to United States Congressman Robert A. Brady (1st. Pa), and a Fellow at the Foreign Policy Research Institute’s Center on Terrorism, Counter-terrorism and Homeland Security. His sister Jackie attends SPIN and she has instilled a passion for issues pertaining to Intellectual Disabilities.
