AID in PA is a resource collection for Pennsylvanians in the autism and intellectual disability communities. A joint effort between ASERT (Autism Services, Education, Resources, and Training) and the statewide HCQUs (Health Care Quality Units), this site is designed to connect individuals with disabilities, families, professionals, and community members with resources that can best serve them in different situations.

This report focuses on Ohio’s developmental disabilities system of programs and services. It contains three sections examining sexual abuse of individuals with developmental disabilities. Part I focuses on some of the factors that contribute to sexual abuse in the developmental disabilities community and provides recommendations for ways to improve the system. Part II focuses on support services for individuals with developmental disabilities who experience sexual abuse and provides recommendations for ways to improve those services.
